Alliance Tower Defense Roblox Controls and UI Guide

Alliance Tower Defense runs inside Roblox, so movement is the platform default and the experience adds a lobby-plus-match UI on top. This page is the hands-and-panels guide. It does not embed a video: the clip that used to sit here is private, and this wiki will not invent a replacement ID. For the actual Easy clear, watch the walkthrough on Easy City.

Roblox movement you will use

• Move: WASD or arrows on keyboard; on-screen stick on mobile.
• Jump: Space / jump button. Rarely needed on a tower defense pad, but it unsticks you from lobby geometry.
• Camera: Right-mouse drag on PC; two-finger drag on touch. Mouse wheel or pinch to zoom until the City funnel is obvious.
• Focus: Click the game window if right-drag stops rotating. Trackpads may need a two-finger drag instead of a fake right click.

If a bind feels wrong, check Roblox settings first, then any in-experience settings panel. Patches can remap a key; they rarely remap the stick.

Lobby panels

Walk until labels appear. Compact UI means small hitboxes.

• Summon altar — spend lobby coins. Full rules on Summoning.
• Team / loadout — equip Cameraman, Large Scientist, TV Titan, or whatever you actually own. Empty slots are leaks waiting to happen. See Players Hub.
• Mode picker —1-player, Easy, City, and later layouts. See Maps and modes.
• Codes / Gift — paste only what the Codes Hub has verified. How-to lives on How to Redeem Codes.
• Update log — showcase footage shows a dedicated log. Read it after every patch listed on Updates.
• Shop / passes —x2 COINS!, x2 LUCK!, limited GOLDEN BAT!, VIP PASS (299), x2 Game Speed (149). Values on the Gamepass guide.

If a panel will not open, you are still loading or you are not in the lobby. Finish the fade, then tap once — not five times.

In-match controls

• Place a unit from the match hotbar onto a legal pad. Do not sit on the enemy path.
• Upgrade / max the selected body. This is the whole Easy City lesson. If you cannot find upgrade buttons, zoom in; mobile UI hides them under the stick.
• Auto Skip — a toggle, not a personality. On after the first max on Easy; off if the next wave arrives before you can spend. Strategy context on the Strategy page.
• Leave / pause — corner icon. Use it when populated servers skip you into a wipe. Coins earned so far still count; stubbornness does not.

Abilities, if a unit has a manual button, sit on the unit panel. Many bodies fire on their own once placed. Cameraman’s job in the beginner method is to exist and be maxed, not to be micro’d like an FPS.

Mobile-specific friction

• Pinch and two-finger drag early. You cannot max what you cannot see.
• Long-press to paste codes. The How to Redeem Codes page exists because phones eat characters.
• Lower Roblox graphics if late waves stutter. Skip plus lag is how you miss an upgrade tick.
• Fat-finger the leave button once so you know where it is before a boss, not during it.

Settings worth a minute

Camera sensitivity, UI scale, music versus SFX, and Roblox colourblind filters all apply. Rarity colours and path effects are easier to read with the right filter. Reduced motion helps if skip-plus-abilities make you nauseous. None of these settings replace place-then-max.

Troubleshooting

• Cannot rotate camera: refocus the window; try two-finger drag on a laptop.
• Taps do nothing: wait a beat between taps; the lobby is not a clicker.
• No Auto Skip: you may be in a mode that hides it, or a patch moved the toggle. Walk the match HUD once after every update.
• Altar or codes dead: you are in a match. Leave, then retry.
• Wrong experience: confirm universe 10393438342 on the Links Hub. Private clones will not match this UI map.

After you can click everything

Go play City. Controls without a clear are trivia. Pair this page with Getting Started for the hour-one story and with Easy City for the farm. If your hands are fine and you still leak, the problem is Strategy, not the stick.
